Summer Young Men Discipleship group—Tuesday, August 2nd from 6:30-8:00pm. Pastor Mark will lead this young men’s discipleship group for students age 14 and above. Fathers are welcome (and encouraged) to attend as well. We will discuss what it genuinely means to be a Christian man, disciple of Christ, and what it means to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ. Abide Ladies Ministry First Fridays—Mark your calendars for Friday, August 5that 6:00pm for an evening of food (bring a snack), games (compete or observe), teaching (relatable teaching for God’s Word specific to current issues facing women), resources (books & more) & prayer (specific time to lift one another in prayer).
Ladies Bible Study—Thursday, August 11th is when the next Ladies Study will begin. Idolatry will be the topic of the summer study. Project Respect’s 12th Annual Golf Outing—August 20th at 8:00am at Eagle Rock Golf Club in Defiance. In-person registration begins at 7:00a.m. The cost is $320 per team of 4 players or $80 per individual. Registration includes 18 holes, golf cart, and lunch. Proceeds from the event help fund positive character education in our local communities. Project Respect is the educational program of CPC Women’s Health Resource.
Baptism & Family Night—Sunday, August 21st we will be having our family night at Monica Monachino’s parent’s pond beginning at 4:00 PM. This special family outing will include a cookout, swimming, and a baptism service. Please bring your own meat to grill and a dish to share.
